About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Assist hygienists in providing high-quality dental cleanings and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques.
- Ensure the hygiene area is clean and organized for optimal efficiency.
- Support the front office with scheduling and patient check-in as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Certification: Current Pennsylvania X-ray Certification is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in a dental office or related field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices.
